SOooooooooo… my first home school learning pack for EARLY YEARS aged children is finished and ready go to Alfie (Reception school age) and Evelyn (preschool age) to try out for me! It has been exciting to make the first one so now I know how long they take to create and make, how much paper I use, how many laminating pouches, and knowing I need a few extra bits like paper clips (I ended up using hair clips!), velcro strips and pipe cleaners. Each pack will come with a reading buddy too… I have spent my evenings making a start on some angels, I am excited to see how they turn out. It always surprises me how different they all are, and no matter how hard I try, I cannot recreate the same one twice! I mentioned before about how I did a painting for a friend. It was a quote and image she had found and resonated with her, and she asked if I could paint it. I thoroughly enjoyed making it for her. If any of you have any favourite quotes and would like me to draw/paint them, send me an...

Hello,  Well another busy day yesterday. Between home schooling, blood tests and a routine covid swab (ready for a hospital appointment on Thursday), I managed to felt an angel and start on my first home school parent child support pack! I have SO many ideas but realise if this works I may need to buy a photocopier!!! (ok so obviously I can't fit one in, so need to source how to photocopy packs somewhere locally...)  If you are interested, or know someone who may want a home school learning pack to support them with ideas of things to do at home during lock down - pass on this blog to them!  They will be £20 a pack as there is a lot of information, support and activities. This also will cover the cost of printing ink, paper, and laminating, and they take quite a while to make. This cost will also include a 'reading buddy' (you will have to wait and see what a 'reading buddy' is!) Lots of the child led activities will be laminated and interactive for the children to ...

Good Morning Everyone!    Wow what a lovely response to my new blog! I have had lots of lovely friends requesting angels and felted animals already. I can’t wait to get started! I will message you each personally when I am ready to make your felted request. I am still getting myself set up with the resources I need. I have set up an email address for people to message requests, but please continue to text/ WhatsApp/ Facebook/ Instagram message requests too if you have my number. Please allow me a few days to respond to your email, especially at the start of this venture as I am still learning. At the moment I am doing local collection only as I am currently shielding due to my cancer treatment and coronavirus, so am not going into the post office. Do you like my new logo idea?     So update on what I can offer right now... Any of the above plus requests for felted animals of your choice. I can give anything a go! I have also done a painting for a friend on request in...
